The mutagens and carcinogens research unit is interested in the detection and identification of mutagens and carcinogens in food and medicine by using many modern technologies in the field of partial genetics.

The major emphasis of the unit’s research is to advance the understanding of the disease processes leading to human tumour development and/or establish novel technologies and approaches with clinical significance in diagnosis, prognosis, and prevention strategies for cancer patients. contribute to preparing a new generation of scientists and researchers specialized in these areas.
