Information Technology Unit is a basic unit that supports the center in the technical field, as it provides technical support in networks, computers and their parts, in addition to providing systems, computer programs and utilities.
The unit also creates and monitors internal networks for computers and Internet services. Among its tasks is the development and maintenance of the KFMRC website and automative systems and the provision of similar services to all KFMRC units.

The unit coordinates the training and education process of students. It facilitates them to complete their academic training requirements. The unit also provides appropriate training to obtain practical experience for graduate students, too. In addition, it provides postgraduate students and researchers with the ability to conduct their scientific research using pre-equipped laboratories to conduct research and experiments.

The Academic Support Services Unit aims to provide specialized workshops that suit students needs. In addition to monitoring the smart lounge, which provides a suitable environment for students, visitors and KFMRC members to discuss, meet and surf the Internet.
The unit, in coordination with the Illustartion Aids Unit, helps students and visitors design and print specialized educational aids as needed.

The Medical Engeneering Unit maintains the safety and quality of all laboratory and research devices in KFMRC. The unit’s team consists of engineers and technicians specialized in the fields of electrical and medical device engineering. Supervising more than 2000 devices; providing information and reports, their level of quality, and ensuring their conformity with specifications and standards. It also works on periodic and corrective maintenance, acceptance tests for new devices, daily inspection of laboratories, disposal and confiscation of expired devices, replacement of medical and research gas cylinders, and finally, reviewing risk alerts and maintenance calls on devices.

Providing a safe and healthy environment for staff and visitors is one of the most important goals of the unit, through the development and implementation of the safety and risk management program inside KFMRC and work in accordance with international standards for quality control, which has a great impact on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for employees, to work in harmony to achieve the greatest amount of productivity to develop and facilitate the management of emergencies In the best way. The unit also aims to address the obstacles facing KFMRC and promote work practices that achieve excellence in environmental leadership in accordance with the rules and regulations related to occupational health, safety and resource protection.

The Maintenance and Operation Unit provides and implements all tasks related to preventive and emergency periodic maintenance, including maintenance of central air-conditioning units, elevators, follow-up of electrical loads, generators, transformers, and distribution boards for the building, repairing electrical faults, making electrical installations for devices and equipment, supervising the contract of agricultural works, hygiene, pest control, securing water for the facility, and follow-up and coordination with The Department of Security and Safety, follow-up and coordination with the University Vice Presidency for Projects when implementing projects, renovations, etc.
