Dr. Shams Tabrez Joins KFMRC

 




Dr. Shams Tabrez has joined King Fahad Medical Research Center (KFMRC) as a researcher.

Dr. Shams Tabrez received his doctorate degree in Biochemistry from Department of Biochemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, India.

His research has been related with toxicity/genotoxicity and biomarker study of some xenobiotics in plant/animal models..

He had developed interest in the role of xenobiotics in cancer progression and the role of antioxidants that can stop the proliferation of cancer in local community. he had published 11 articles in the journals of international repute. he was invited as a speaker to deliver a lecture on “Toxicity Biomarkers and Biomarkers Assay Development” Assembly of BIT Life Sciences' 3rd annual PepCon-2010 held during March 21-23, 2010 Beijing, China.

At KFMRC, he will work on the same field for better health services to humanity particularly local community.

Dr. Shams Tabrez is considered a good addition to the teams of scientific research at KFMRC.

His ability to bring in novel ideas into his research and his writing skills will result in some really good publications for KFMRC.
